Mardan is the largest town in the region with a population of about 1,000,000 persons and is located approximately 64 kilometers from Peshawar, which is the largest city and provincial headquarters of KPK.

Project details: Construction of new Irrigation System i.e. Earthworks, Canal Lining (PCC), Manufacturing/Laying of RCC Pipes (24” to 42” sizes), Fall, Aqueducts, Escape Channels, Bridges, Irrigation Pressure Control Valves, Road Crossing, Drain Crossing etc.

The main objective of this project is supply of irrigation water to the Project Area  A new irrigation system will be constructed for enhancing agricultural production in the Project Area. The project also includes provision of drinking water supplies to seven villages in Swabi District.
